Nicole
Nicole is an experienced Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor with a distinctive blend of professional achievements, as well as mentorship by a descendant of the visionary Joseph Pilates himself.
Nicole is a SoCal native! She holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley, and earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from New York University (NYU). She was a professional dancer and instructor for 17 years, with a variety of prestigious roles including dancing for the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, and as an NFL cheerleader.
Knowing first-hand the tremendous demands professional dance has on one’s body, Nicole pivoted her career into the healing arts. She’s earned numerous Pilates & Yoga certifications, took additional anatomy and pre-med courses, and she is completing a 6 month Mindfulness & Meditation certification with world-renowned Jack Kornfield.
An experienced practitioner, Nicole enjoys working with people of all levels and abilities, from rehabilitation to high-level athletic performance. She leads Pilates and Yoga retreats, and has also created a thriving yoga retreat center with her brother and sister-in-law.
After her beautiful mom passed away from stage 4 colon cancer, Nicole wanted to be of service to others dealing with the stresses of daily life. She sees how hard people work and one of her purposes is to gently remind others that it’s okay to take time out of their full lives to rest, rejuvenate, indulge in slowing down, play and allow their bodies to heal. Her personal and professional journey has instilled a profound appreciation for the mind-body connection and the transformative power of movement and mindfulness. Nicole expertly inspires a sense of connection between the body, mind, and spirit, promoting holistic healing and transformation.
