Return to Sport Assessment
Embrace the journey back to your sport with confidence and clarity with our Return to Sport Assessment at Elevate Physical Therapy & Fitness.
Our Doctors of Physical Therapy work with you one-on-one, taking you through extensive testing including dynamometry strength testing, range of motion, and 6 specific sport movement tests under video analysis and objective scoring, all used to determine your readiness to return to sport.
ELEVATE’s Return to Sport Assessment is often used to determine an athlete’s readiness to return to sport after lower extremity injuries such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears. The Assessment gives athletes, their parents, as well as their doctors objective data and a clear picture of where athletes are in the rehab process with respect to strength and movement strategies; it highlights current risks for re-injury; and it guides on what to do next to best mitigate the risks as athletes continue to rehab and return to sport.
ELEVATE’S Return to Sport Assessment creates a tailor-made roadmap for your successful reentry into competition.
We consider your unique physical capabilities, challenges, and sporting demands to define the optimal plan that targets a safe, effective, and swift return to peak performance. This individualized approach not only expedites your recovery but also provides a solid foundation for you to compete at your highest level while minimizing the risk of re-injury.
The benefits of this dedicated Return to Sport Assessment extend far beyond a successful return to your sport.
